Calendar Planner – Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your organisation’s use of the Calendar Planner application (“Calendar Planner”), developed and provided by JFDI Consulting Ltd. By installing, accessing, or using Calendar Planner in your Microsoft 365 environment, you agree to these Terms.

Overview

Calendar Planner is a SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solution designed to operate within Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online. These Terms apply specifically to the Calendar Planner application and its related licensing services, and not to other JFDI Consulting Ltd products or public websites.

Licence and Usage Rights

  • Calendar Planner is licensed to your organisation through a connected SaaS service made available via the Microsoft commercial marketplace.
  • Your organisation must maintain an active licence to continue using the application.
  • Licensing information may be validated through a secure call to our SaaS licensing endpoint. No personal data is transmitted as part of this process.
  • You may deploy Calendar Planner within your Microsoft 365 tenant for the number of licensed users or sites permitted under your subscription.

Data Handling and Ownership

  • Calendar Planner stores and processes data exclusively within your organisation’s Microsoft Microsoft 365 tenant.
  • All event data, settings, and metadata are stored in SharePoint lists or other Microsoft 365 components controlled by your organisation.
  • JFDI Consulting Ltd does not access or extract your tenant’s data unless explicitly authorised for support purposes.
  • Your organisation retains full ownership and control of all data used within the Calendar Planner application.

  1. JFDI Consulting Ltd may provide updates, improvements, or patches to Calendar Planner from time to time.
  2. Support channels and response commitments are outlined in your organisation’s support agreement with JFDI Consulting Ltd.
  3. Continued use of the application requires applying updates when provided.

6. Security

  1. Calendar Planner operates within Microsoft 365’s security and compliance framework, including role‑based access control and SharePoint permissions.
  2. JFDI Consulting Ltd does not introduce third‑party tracking, analytics, or data‑collection components.
  3. All licensing endpoints use encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

7. Service Availability

  1. Availability of Calendar Planner depends on Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online service availability.
  2. JFDI Consulting Ltd is not responsible for outages, disruptions, or limitations caused by Microsoft’s underlying services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  1. JFDI Consulting Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use Calendar Planner.
  2. Liability is limited to the fees paid for the applicable licence term.
