Silicon Brighton is running its biggest ever event on 7th May 2020, and all online. This time, 30 speakers will present on a diverse range of topics relating to business and leadership. And two of JFDI’s people are among the presenters.
Jon Silver, our R&D Director, will be repeating and expanding upon his Real-World AI & Automation for Business session he originally delivered for Silicon Brighton back in February. A useful general introduction to automation for business, Jon will present an overview of what’s possible and practical, the basics of automation technology, the risks and rewards, and even the real-world costs of automation projects. Jon will be on the “Focus” channel at around 16:25.
Our Business Development Exec, Ike Gluski, will be covering Microsoft Teams, looking at its growing range of features that have made it such a popular collaborative working platform. Ike’s session starts at about 15:10 on the “Focus” channel.
As a bonus, our gamification guru Pete Jenkins of JFDI’s partner company Gamification+ will also be presenting a session on how to lead a “Gameful Work from Home Culture”, starting at approximately 10:45 on the “Online” channel.
Silicon Brighton normally hosts regular, in-person conference events in the Brighton and Hove area which have become hugely popular, and had planned a very exciting, active programme of events for the spring and summer. However when the Covid-19 Pandemic put a temporary hold on physical events, Silicon Brighton was quick to pivot to online events. But where capacity isn’t a problem, why not go large? Hence 30 speakers over two channels!
You can get your tickets to the Silicon Brighton NHS Fundraiser event from EventBrite, where you can also make your voluntary donation. The day represents thousands of hours of work given for free by dozens of people, and promises to be full of great learning and insights. Please enjoy, learn and give generously. See you there!
