These Terms of Use govern your organisation’s use of the applications in the JFDI Planner Suite, developed and provided by JFDI Consulting Ltd. By installing, accessing, or using a Planner in your Microsoft 365 environment, you agree to these Terms.
They cover the suite as a whole. Each Planner also publishes its own Terms of Use on its own site. Where the two differ in detail, the individual product terms are the authoritative ones for that product — they are the terms presented at install and linked from the Microsoft Marketplace listing.
Overview
Every Planner is a SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solution designed to operate within Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online, deployed to your own tenant App Catalog. These Terms apply to the Planner applications and their related licensing services, and not to other JFDI Consulting Ltd products or public websites.
Licence and usage rights
- Each Planner is licensed to your organisation through a connected SaaS service made available via the Microsoft commercial marketplace.
- Every Planner has a permanently free tier that requires no licence assignment. Your organisation must maintain an active licence to continue using features above that tier.
- Every fresh install includes a 30-day trial of the top tier so the paid features can be evaluated before any commitment.
- Licensing is validated through a secure call to our SaaS licensing endpoint. No personal data is transmitted as part of this process.
- You may deploy each Planner within your Microsoft 365 tenant for the number of licensed users or sites permitted under your subscription.
Data handling and ownership
- Planners store and process data exclusively within your organisation’s Microsoft 365 tenant.
- All business content, settings, and metadata are stored in SharePoint lists or other Microsoft 365 components controlled by your organisation.
- JFDI Consulting Ltd does not access or extract your tenant’s data unless explicitly authorised for support purposes.
- Your organisation retains full ownership and control of all data used within the Planner applications.
User responsibilities
You agree that:
- You will use the Planners in compliance with applicable laws and your organisation’s internal policies.
- You are responsible for managing permissions and access to the SharePoint sites and lists the Planners use.
- You will not attempt to modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or circumvent any part of the applications.
Support and updates
- JFDI Consulting Ltd may provide updates, improvements, or patches to any Planner from time to time.
- Each Planner’s own site carries its documentation, release notes and support routes. Our product support desk covers the whole portfolio.
- Support channels and response commitments are outlined in your organisation’s support agreement with JFDI Consulting Ltd.
- Continued use of an application requires applying updates when provided.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- JFDI Consulting Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use any Planner.
- Liability is limited to the fees paid for the applicable licence term.
Termination
- A paid licence may be terminated if your SaaS subscription lapses or is cancelled.
- On termination the application gracefully downgrades to its free tier; paid features are hidden but your data is preserved.
- If the package is uninstalled entirely, the underlying SharePoint lists remain in your tenant unless deleted by your organisation.
