CVC engaged JFDI in developing an application issue tracker to help with their case management capabilities.

JFDI’s Aardvark to the rescue

CVC Capital Partners needed a robust and dependable solution to track any issue with one of their apps. The solution must not compromise data safety, empower developers through collaboration and avoid distracting the development team at all costs.

JFDI addressed this need with Aardvark for Microsoft Teams, utilised as an application issue tracker. Our highly customisable business process management has proven to be successful in various scenarios. A discovery session allowed us to precisely map and translated their problem-solving process into a familiar Kanban board.

Issue Tracker

Every ticket gets a unique number for tracking. The record contains information like an issue description etc. When the Aardvark record reaches the last swim lane, the problem is solved, and the ticket gets archived.

To encourage collaboration, we leverage the functionalities of Microsoft Teams. Team members can spawn channels to store related files and work collaboratively on a given issue without leaving the platform. Any appropriate files or relevant information can be emailed directly to the channel.

Secure

One of the main concerns of CVC, as a financial institution, is data safety. Aardvark for Microsoft Teams only stores its data in the target Microsoft 365 subscription hosted by SharePoint. SharePoint Online Compliance Score supports more than ten global, regional, and industrial assessments, including #GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27701, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FFIEC, and more.

Collaboration and Cross referencing

With the documents stored within a dedicated channel, colleagues can discuss changes via channel chat or calls whilst working on the documents. Another core feature is cross-referencing, where the changes between the files and the notes in the code, thanks to the issue identification numbers.

Customisable

CVC could customise the data format by adding columns in Aardvark’s SharePoint List. The user interface automatically adapts to support your custom fields. You can use your data anywhere in Microsoft 365, including the Power Platform and Power BI. Matching the customer colours and branding elements was just a breeze.
